Bluetooth

Po can be controlled by connecting to it by bluetooth, sending commands and instructions

3D printable parts

Body parts are designed to fit 3D printers configurations, where parts are professionally designed to fit together. furthermore, broken parts can be replaced easily and economically by either buying the part from us or 3d printing it at your own cost.

Customizable

Po will have the facilities to be customizalbe by adding cameras and extra stuff to be announced later

Simple SDK 

At hexapo we use open source simple aurdino software development kit to operate Po and send instructions to it

WiFi

With the wifi features you will be able to connect to Po through wifi for better communication when developing and learning as well as playing

Chipset

Hexapo has its own bord design based on the arduino architecture to help run Po effectively

    Our Humble Beginnings

    This was our first prototype made in the university as part of one of the modules.

    This was our second prototype that was shown in different exhibitions in Cairo, Egypt this includes Cairo Maker fair and Fab festival

    Transition to Functionality

    This is our third prototype designed from scratch to help accomedate all the functionalities and future expansion features that will be available in the future, however it is still being worked on and progress is being made!

HexaPo is a DIY customizable robotic kit based on Arduino. It is designed for geeks and beginners who want to learn about robotics and electronic kits. It gives you the chance to go far away with your creativity and imagination to create whatever you want!

HexaPo works and moves using ESP32 compatible board.

HexaPo Kit: 28 metal gear servos, ESP32 board, Lipo battery, battery charger and body parts with needed screws.

You can customize and hack your own robot and build whatever you imagine with it by adding different sensors and camera module.
Can learn how robot works and learn about coding and electronic stuff.

It was designed for hobbyists, beginners and geeks to give them the chance to build something creative.
(If you feel excited when you see a robot but don't know how it works...this is for you).

It takes 15-30 minutes depending on your experience with electronic components.

HexaPo comes with open source PC software program with a simple interface.
Control the robot by building Bluetooth connection with the software program.

The robot uses Bluetooth HC-06 module which can reach up to 9 meters (30 feet)​.

All the designs will be open source in STL file form after launching the campaign.
You will need to collect the electronic components yourself.

You can buy the kit and it comes with plastic molded parts and the rest of electronic components.

The capacity of the battery is 1000mAh lasts for 15 min of using.

We are using customized Arduino board that contains:

  • 28 GPIO
  • 24 servo channel
